This is the cutest wreath I have EVER seen!
and I'm pretty sure that they ate more candy than adorned the gingerbread house.....

Who knew that a gingerbread house wasn't as easy to put together as the box says.....
our roof kept falling off

BUT, she was still extremely proud of it!!

We had to make a visit to the dr's office, only to be told that there was nothing wrong with her BUT then she got way worse and very sick a few days later as did Alan and I!
Kyla and Kaegan went to SantaLand with us!
My favorite lil' man let me hold him long enough for a picture!
This was not the first time we visited Santa but was the only chance we got to capture it for future reference...oh maybe when she's like 15 or 16.
She was much happier in the lap of Mrs. Clause.
Dora, Dora, Dora the Explorer!! One of the many of Isabella's favorite cartoon characters.
The snow was up to her knees but she still wasn't standing on the ground!!
Isabella LOVED making snow angels!!
This snow ice cream was bowl licking good!!
This was one of the tallest drifts we had around our house! Cuddles, our dog who had surgery was definitely feeling spry as she would use the drifts to aid her in jumping the fence.

Thank you Grandpa Nicholas for the music box....Isabella LOVED it and was so thrilled, you definitely knew what would make this 2 yr old smile. She plays with it almost daily!!!
Making cookies for Santa
Isabella was ready to open gifts....
She thanked grandmother for every one of them....
and was very intently studying this toy....
and had a BLAST being a lil' DIVA with all of her dress up clothes and accessories...
Awww, the lovin' was so SWEET!!!!
This is the face of a child who got just what she wanted....
A NEW KITCHEN!!! She was thrilled and hasn't stopped playing with it since!! I bet she can't wait for the weather to warm up and get it out in her playhouse.
She was so excited about the cookies and milk set....Thank you Nana Gina!!! Santa had a few cookies and pretend milk (We were out of milk and snowed IN) and the reindeer a few carrots.
Dressed to see what Santa had left this good little girl...
The stockings were hung....WERE being the key word!!
Isabella asked Santa for a dolly and Santa delivered. Well for the most part....she also asked Santa for a bicycle but Santa didn't think she was quite old enough for one yet.
She was so excited to see the stories of....If you go to bed, Santa will come visit and bring good little girls toys....
And much to her surprise the milk, cookies and carrots were GONE....
She loved all the little toys that filled her stocking!!

Uggghhhh.....so frustrating, I had this whole blog written up and ready to post long before it is actually getting posted but guess what happened (I finally figured out my problem) as I was scrolling down highlighting my whole post to center it-getting it ready for posting, I came to the end and poof my whole entry was Gone, Bye-Bye, floating away to Cyber Heaven!! So now I'm left to typing it all over again, so here goes....
I'm getting pretty good at these mass updates and multiple postings. Hopefully soon I will have more time to get back in the swing of things but for awhile the updates will probably be few and far between and not sure when but hopefully soon I will be back on the bandwagon of sharing my Weight Watcher recipes. Although many good things happened in 2009-many bad did as well and we are definitely glad to see it go and welcoming 2010 with open arm, hoping for better luck and praying and waiting for what the future holds and will bring with the new decade. Instead of boring you with a bunch of mumble, jumble I will share December with you in pictures. December brought Holiday candy making with friends, gingerbread house building, all family sickness, SantaLand visiting, White Christmas with all inclusive snowman building; snow angel making; snow ice cream mixing; and snowball fights, an unforgettable less than stellar few days leading up to Christmas, Santa cookie baking, WONDERFUL small family Christmas complete with a visit from Santa, and then not so wonderful few days after when Alan rolled and totaled MY car but thank God he is O.K. We then rang in the New Year with an amazing group of friends and family! So far the new year has been good to us except for yesterday when Madisyn got into who knows what that caused her head and upper body to swell to soccer-basketball size. Thanks to time, Benedryl, and the very rare patience of my husband she was looking lots better by bedtime. All of that said Hip, Hip Hooray for 2010!!!
After seeing what the jolly man left us, we headed outside to build a snowman...
Isabella kept well hydrated by eating snow while....
Alan and I did the hard work of trying to lift this VERY heavy middle section of the snowman...you would think we had learned at an early age to not try and build the Guinness Book of World Records Snowman!!!
Grammie adding the finishing touches...pecan eyes, tomato nose, a carrot smile, celery pipe and pecan buttons....
Then we posed with our very handsome, taller than Alan snowman. He stayed visiting for several days...in fact his base is still sitting in the yard as of today!
After a morning of snow playing.....dress up time! This kid can walk better in heels than most women I know!!!
I want to take this time to wish my brother a very Happy Birthday! We all hope that you had a wonderful day and got to sit back, relax and enjoy it.
Also I want to wish Kyla a very Happy Birthday on the 6th as I probably won't get another blog posted before then. Hope you have a great day and we will celebrate very soon!!!
Here's a holiday funny for you.....

YEP, you read that right-10/11/81....I found this homemade cranberry sauce while cleaning out my grandmother's freezer before the holidays....How old were you?? To the day I was
8 months old......So.....are you hungry for homemade cranberry sauce for dinner???
