We have started attending the First Baptist Church here in Monahans and Isabella absolutely LOVES going to church and even more so attending Sunday School. Unfortunately they didn't have Sunday school on Easter Sunday but instead served a delicious breakfast for the whole church family and then had a bag decorating time, the Resurrection egg story and an Easter egg hunt for the kiddos! Isabella had so much fun. After church we did our usual Subway Sunday lunch, went and took a few pictures of Isabella in her "Easter dress" - which just happened to have been reused from Courtney's wedding last May. After all of that we headed over to Granddad's where the Easter Bunny had visited Isabella. She had fun hunting the eggs in his huge backyard then coming in and seeing what all she got for Easter. Pretty much we just spend the holiday hanging out and relaxing.
MOTHER's DAY
Unfortunately this Sunday I didn't feel like I could sit through Sunday School, Church and then lunch so I skipped out on Sunday school and Alan went and took Isabella. Alan then came back to get me before church and we attended church and then went over to the Presbyterian church to partake in a delicious pot luck and spend lunch with my mom and granddad. Alan spent the rest of the afternoon watching baseball with Granddad, Isabella took a nap and I put my feet up and did some relaxing. As the day gets closer to baby girls arrival the more exhausted and miserable I become. We went over during the evening and did a little bit of work at the house, cleaning, a few more touches in the nursery, etc. Although it wasn't much, I did have a good Mother's Day.
