Mr. & Mrs. Brandon Ring (Aunt Corney's Wedding)

This past weekend, we spent the weekend in Austin on Lake Travis. Although, it was one of the most stressful weekends I've had in a LONG time, it was a BEAUTIFUL wedding and Brandon and Courtney became husband and wife without a hitch.

Friday the bridal party met at a nail salon and Isabella got her first mani/pedi and myself my second ever pedicure. Thank goodness this time the lady just made comment of short toenails instead of making a laughing scene by telling her co-workers to come look---"oooo no nail. Haha!".

After the salon, we had rehearsal and the beautiful/delicious rehearsal dinner put on by Brandon's folk at Freda's Seafood and Grille and then headed back to Vintage Villas for the night. Sunday morning Isabella and I had to be up and ready by 9 to head to a bridal luncheon. The food was delicious and the company was wonderful but Isabella acted less than stellar. She embarrassed me, frustrated me and stressed me to the max. She had just been cooped up too long and needed some kid time. So we headed back to the hotel for some play time, a nap and to get ready for the wedding.

The Wedding was an absolutely gorgeous sunset wedding overlooking Lake Travis. Courtney looked STUNNING and you could tell that love was in the air and the two are very much in love!!! Again another delicious dinner, cake and Isabella danced the night away!!

I'm so glad that Courtney made us part of her special day! She is a very special person to our whole family and we welcome Brandon into that specialness with open arms!
Monday before we hit the road to head home we made the morning about Isabella. We headed to downtown Austin to Butler park where we were going to take her to a water fountain that you can play in but unfortunately it wasn't working so instead we headed over to Ziegler Park where she played on an awesome playground, had a snow cone and enjoyed a train ride. We had lunch at Baby Acapulco and then headed on our journey home.
