These are just a few of the questions asked when you take your kiddo for their 24 month check-up. In case you haven't figured it out, we went to see Dr. Klepper today for Isabella's 24 month check-up. She checked out just perfect. She weighed in at 33 lbs and was 36 in tall. That put her in the 95th percentile which Dr. Klepper said was just fine, that meant she was proportionate! She did have to get one shot (Hep A) and a fluoride treatment on her teeth. She did wonderfully, when the nurse gave her the shot, she looked where the shot went in and then at the nurse, whimpered a little but didn't ever shed a tear! My baby is now a BIG girl!! I was so proud of her.
Before and after the dr's appointment we met up with Kyla and Kaegan for a little bit and played at the park and played and visited at Mom-Mom Jennings with Kathleen, Kyla, Kaegan & Mom-Mom.

We then took grandmother to the weekly beauty shop appointment and then home to play outside till Alan got home. When Alan got home we went swimming for a little bit but unfortunately it looked and smelled like pond water! We have done very good about taking care of our pool this year however, the rain & humid weather that we had last week, plus all of the make-up, hairspray, hair gel and who knows and probably don't want to know what else might have been left behind in the pool at Isabella's party, I'm sure doesn't help the algae factor either!! We put chemicals in and hopefully it will be cleared up by the weekend for the holiday fun!
We then came in for showers, dinner and bedtime. As Isabella and I were taking a shower the mimics adults developmental characteristic shined through. As I was washing my hair/body and shaving my legs, I looked down and saw a new sight. Usually Isabella stands or sits in the back of the shower and plays but gets were my body shields her from the stream of water showering down. However, tonight, she was standing at the faucet and using the drips of water that were coming out to reenact all of my actions...right down to propping her leg on the side of the tub and pretending to shave her legs and to washing her body in the same form and fashion that I was. I then shouted to Alan, "Alan, bring me a clean towel please." My little parrot chimed in, "Alan, mehere" So now we will have to more and more careful about things that we say and do in front of her and make sure we put thing in their place such razors, knives and scissors! Everyone tells me that she's my mini me but now she's our copy cat!!
